We work for children who are Differently abled, orphaned, abandoned or whose families are unable to take care for them. We give these children the opportunity to build lasting relationships within a family. Our family approach in Adarsh Bhawan is based on four principles: Each child needs a mother, and grows up most naturally with brothers and sisters, in their own house, within a supportive friendly environment. These are the core beliefs and attitudes on which our organization has been built, and they are the cornerstones of our success. These enduring values guide our actions, decisions and relationships as we work towards fulfilling our mission.

Through love and acceptance, emotional wounds are healed and confidence is built. Children learn to trust and believe in themselves and others. At Aura Welfare Foundation With this self-assurance each child can recognize and fulfill his or her potential.

At Aura Welfare Foundation Children are protected from abuse, neglect and exploitation and are kept safe during natural disaster and war. Children have shelter, food, health care and education. These are the basic requirements for the sound development of all children,

Nutrition and health challenges for our children as noticed are far too intense. This includes current nutritional assessment and diet correction of children using ABCD method of analysis. Such children are affected by nutritional deficiencies due to poor absorption and also inadequacy of a balanced diet and physical inactivity. Our aim so far has been to help the students at Aura Welfare Foundation achieve their ideal weight for an improved body balance and to prevent obesity related chronic diseases. Being light on their feet will enhance their will to engage more in physical activity.

The applicability and the efficacy of the nutrition Intervention program in our children is achieved through our regular Nutrition education workshops, periodic assessments carried out by Nutrition and Diet Consultant.

Aura Welfare Foundation has a dedicated team of specialists in fields like art, dance. Music and theatre who work towards enhancing the extra-curricular skills of the children . These activities are also a means of alternate therapies with important health and social benefits.

"George Bernard Shaw had said, “I want to be used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. Life is no brief candle. To me it is a splendid torch, and I must make it burn as brightly as possible, before handing it on to future generations"."
